He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy L. (Smith) and Harry R. Holtzman, Jr.; his brother Raymond Holtzman; his stepsister Marie Knaub; and his mother-in-law Eva Ort.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy I. Holtzman (Ort); his daughter Melissa Johnson; his grandchildren, Alex and Aden Johnson; his siblings, William E. Holtzman (Tina), Annie Henshaw (Brian), Christine Holtzman and Karen E. Banks (Sing); his father-in-law Harold Ort; and his siblings-in-law, Sally Miller (Steve), Patsy Harner (Scott), Sandy Grimes (Jim) and Terry Ort. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
