He was predeceased by: his mother Richardine Harley (Bryant); his close friend Mildred Louise Jackson; his daughter Hope Bryant; and his siblings, Isaac Smith, William Smith, William Bryant, Janie Hartzog and Justine Wise.
He is survived by: his children, Van Jackson of York, PA., Mark Jackson of York, PA., Jeff Jackson of York, PA., Beronia M. Jackson of York, PA., Lavern Taylor, Carmen Bryant of York, PA, Todette Bryant of Georgia and Tina Jackson of Phila, PA; and his siblings, Jacob Smith (Annette), George Smith (Mae Francis) of South Carolina, Edwin Smith of North Carolina, Classy Mae Kendricks of Maryland, Marian Martin of New York and Willa Mae Toomer of South Carolina. He is also survived by great-grand children, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
