She was predeceased by: her spouse Claude E. "Bud" Strickler, Jr.; her parents, Wilbur H. Smyser and Elsie May Smyser (Joseph); her grandson Terry Snyder; and her siblings, Richard Smyser, Helen Bowman, Anna Baublitz, Albert Smyser, Kenneth Smyser, Clair Smyser, Ruth Grim, Norma Lentz, Mary Ellen Davis and Aleen Kopp.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Gojmerac, Jim Strickler (Karen), Jeff Strickler (Cindy) and Jill Meckley (Greg); her grandchildren, Joshua Meckley (Meredith) and Megan Hacker (Aaron); and her sisters, Josephine Sindlinger and Ethel Wintermyer. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
