It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Silks of York, Pennsylvania, born in Plain City, Ohio, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter E. Silks; her parents, Erwin Kauffman and Anna Kauffman (Keim); and her siblings, Edgar Kauffman, Anna Mae Miller, Mary Plank, Ruth Mast and Irene Yoder.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph A. Silks (Brenda) and Alice A. Zepp (Daniel); her grandchildren, Amanda, April, Allen, Brandon and Colton; her great grandchild Corbin; and her sisters, Helen Thurmond and Jean Swartzentruber.
