She is survived by: her husband Ira "James" Avery, Jr.; her daughter Darlene Ruth; her godson Matthew Jimerson; her siblings, Freddie (Jean), Jerry, Dorothy and Linda; Richard Boyer (Phyllis). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
