With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Candie Lee Freeland (York, Pennsylvania), born in Bamberg, South Carolina, who passed away on February 5, 2021 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie H. Dickson and Louise Dickson (Bryant); her son Michael Woodyard II (Anna); her stepfather George Sexton, Jr.; and her siblings, Barbara Carter (Dickson) and Lawrence Dickson.
She is survived by: her children, Alana Freeland and Trent Freeland; her siblings, Willie Dickson (Yvonne) and Maria Dickson; and her aunt Mariah Brown of York. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 7 nieces, 4 nephews; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
