It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Kay Ewoldt of York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Carolyn Kay find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Blanche Hogue and Walter Hogue; her children, Jenifer Kowal (Jay) and Shelley Herlihy (Steve); and her grandchildren, Sydney and Benjamin (Oana).
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Living Word Community Church (2530 Cape Horn Rd, Red Lion, PA 17356).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pappus House, 66 Big Mount Rd., Thomasville, PA 17364.
