He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dewey and Ada Wissler Douts (Erb); and his siblings, Gerald Douts, Doris, Julia and Edyth.
He is survived by: his spouse Marlasee Elizabeth Douts (Metzger); his children, David Douts (Barbara) of Seven Valleys, Keith Edward Douts (Elaine) of North Carolina and Diane E. Douts of Dallastown; and his siblings, Bill, Jim, Fred Douts, Helen Friant and Irene Potts. He is also survived by four grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
