He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Beverly Dawson (Cowell); his parents, Charles Dawson and Marie Dawson; and his children, Amanda Shomper (John), Michael Dawson, Brian Lantz (Cinda), Chris Lantz (Charlotte) and James Lantz (Jeanette). He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
