Powell, Charles "Chuck" Warren, Tyrone K. Powell, Jeffery A. Powell, Darlene D. Powell Holland, Patricia M. Powell and Stephanie DeShields Markle; her grandsons, Jalal Jamison Jr. and Cassius Gene Cooper; her former husband Edgar E. Day; her goddaughters, Ashy Teonia Redman and Madey Zania Redman; her stepdaughters, Shannon Taylor and Trinia Day; and her siblings-in-law, Cassandra Powell, Zinda Powell and Wayne Holland. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
