He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kelly Ann Werner; his parents, Roberta J. McMahon (Pyle) and Richard J. McMahon; his children, Eric Christopher McMahon (Christy), Brooke Amber Balmer (Andrew) and Lisa Catherine McMahon; his stepson Justin David Zelger (Rachel); his grandchildren, Gracie Mae, Hunter, Madeline "Madikins", MacGyver, Eva, Maverick, Rocco, Kayliana, Nathanial and Ava; and his siblings, Richard, Michael, Patrick, Sean, Timothy McMahon, Heather Holman and Catherine McMahon. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
