She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Maccou and Julia Maccou (Mortimer); and her brother Luis Antonio Maccou. She is survived by: her husband Derrick; her children, Derrick C. Young Jr. (Tanisha), Andrea Brumfield (Dennis Jr.), Antonio L. Young (Bridget), Enamarie Leite-Young and Robert C. Leite; her grandchildren, Dilorio, Kennedy, Jordynn, Julius and Violet; and her brothers, Pedro Maccou, Alberto Maccou, Jaime Maccou and Jose Maccou. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would encourage anyone attending the services for Daisy to please wear a mask.
