He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard A. Sloan and Irene M. Sloan (Rinehart); his daughter Tracy L. Puleo (Sloan); and his siblings, Delores M. Gladfelter and Donald R. Sloan.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothea L. "Dottie" Sloan (Link); his daughters, Justina E. O'Brien (Thomas), Teri L. Holloway (Donald) and Sheri L. Sloan; and his brother Darrell E. Sloan (Linda) of York. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and in-laws.
