He was predeceased by: his parents, T. B. Reed and Olive Monroe (Harvey); and his siblings, Wilmot Monroe, Erma M. Frey and Mildred R. Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Monroe (Gross); his children, Rev. Timothy R. Monroe (Roberta) of Blairsville, PA and Tamela M. Bourne (Marko); his grandson Ian Bourne; and his sister Helen Smith Bolin of Bradenton, FL. He is also survived by nephew and several nieces.
