With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Mann (York, Pennsylvania), born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 5, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Hoover and Elizabeth Hoover (Glass); her grandson Brent Amspacher; her great grandchild Benjamin Wolfe; and her brothers, Robert, Allen and Ronald Hoover.
She is survived by: her spouse John R. Mann of York; her daughters, Deborah S. Amspacher (David) of Dover, Victoria L. Henry (Kenneth) of North East, MD, Pamela M. Smith (Wayne) of York and Teresa K. Kling (Charles) of Thomasville; and her siblings, William G. Hoover of Chambersburg, Larry James Hoover of York, Richard D. Hoover of Mechanicsburg and June M. Churchy of Chambersburg. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; a step grandson; 24 great grandchildren; and a great-great grandson.
