We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2018, at the age of 97, Edwin Richard Jacobus (York, Pennsylvania), born in Newark, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Anne Jacobus (Reich); his parents, Adam Jakubowski and Helen Jakubowski (Zurkowska); his son Michael Jacobus; and his grandson Jason Daly.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Jacobus of York, PA, Russell Jacobus (Donna) of Chapin, SC, Kathy Vasilas (Ronald) of Ellicott City, MD and Lori Cunningham (Jesse IV) of Abingdon, MD; his brothers, Richard Jakubowski and Walter Jakubowski; and his pets, Rescue and Pickles. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the York YMCA, 90 N Newberry Street, York, PA 17401 or to the Small Miracles Cat & Dog Rescue, 10236 Baltimore National Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21042, from where Lori and Jesse's beloved dog 'Pickles' was rescued.
