She was predeceased by: her parents, John Meck and Bertha Meck (Petry); and her spouse Perry Layser. She is survived by: her son Robert (Yolanda); her grandson Alexander; her great grandchildren, Brendan and Griffin; her granddaughter Elizabeth Coté (Paul); her great grandchildren, William of Northern Virginia and Robert of Northern Virginia; and her siblings, Violet DeOrge of York County, Charles Meck of York County, Shirley Smith of York County, Grace Heiss (Richard) of York County and Larry Meck of York County. She is also survived by her son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, in addition to her siblings, nieces and nephews.
During this difficult pandemic, the family will be receiving friends and relatives from 10:00 am until noon on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Etzweiler Funeral Home, 11111 E Market Street, York.
