He is survived by: his wife Pauline Y. Schaefer (Ort); his children, Todd L. Schaefer and Beth Smith (Michael); his grandchildren, Matthew, Jonathan and Courtney; his stepgrandchildren, Suzanne, Becky and Steven; his great grandchildren, Evan and Nash; and his sister Shirley Blymire. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
