With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis G. Nicholson (York, Pennsylvania), born in McSherrystown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 17, 2018 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Gerard Nicholson; and his brothers, Phillip Nicholson and Michael Nicholson. He is survived by: his parent Helen Nicholson (Staub); his wife Kathryn; his children, Deanna M. Gibbs (Michael) of York, David E. Nicholson (Cheryll) of Williamsburg, VA and Kathryn F. Winter (Douglas) of Red Lion; and his sisters, Rita Weaver (Pete) of New Oxford and Anne Flynn (Jim) of Glenville, WV. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Church 2935 Kingston Rd. York, PA 17402.
