He was predeceased by: his parents, William Snyder and Cora Snyder (Frey); and his wife Alma E. Snyder (Shelley). He is survived by: his children, Teresa Strickler and Rod Snyder (Sally); and his grandchildren, Julie Saragosa and Andrew Snyder (Lori). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
