We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2022, at the age of 84, Gerald E. Groft of York, Pennsylvania, born in Hanover, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis P. Groft and Perpetua Smith Groft; his wife Patricia Ann Groft (Bohr); and his brothers, Francis P. "Sonny" Groft and Charles R. Groft.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Reed (Doug) of York; his stepchildren, Rick Baublitz, Dave Baublitz (Suki) and Cindy Eberman; his grandchildren, Matthew Reed (Katie), Aaron Reed, Emily Clark and Danielle Hoffman (Ron); and his great grandchildren, James, John, Martin Reed, Liam Clark, Alazay, Laytan, Brooklyn, Malakye and Elyjah Hoffman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
