He was predeceased by: his parents, Guillermo Alvarado and Antonia Alvarado; his wife Carmen Alvarado; and his son Javier Alvarado. He is survived by: his son Guillermo "Will" Alvarado (Sherrie); his stepdaughter Ivonne Torres Ortiz (Juan); and his sisters, Elica Alvarado, Marta Alvarado and Isabel Alvarado. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
