It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Mae Nimmons (York, Pennsylvania), born in Bamberg, South Carolina, who passed away on June 7, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas C. Nimmons; her parents, Hubert Parker and Mamie Parker (Johnson); and her daughter Pearl Nimmons-Foster. She is survived by: her daughter Jean Johnson (Curtis) of York; her sisters, Blanche Andrews and Remell Banks; and her grandchildren, Bob Foster (Pam), Regina Woodyard and Ray Woodyard (Kirsten) of York. She is also survived by many great-great grand children, nieces, nephews and faithful friends.
Due to the Covid-19, the private service at 11:00am will be limited to the immediate family.
