He is survived by: his wife Deborah Kay Silar (Young); his grandchildren, Ethan Silar, Brooklyn Cochran and Khloe Cochran; and his brothers, Bruce Silar (Cynthia) and Neal Silar (Min Fong). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
