She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde F. Bentzel; her sons, Walter R. Boyer and Clyde F. "Butch" Bentzel, Jr.; and her sisters, Martha Spiese and Janet Decker.

She is survived by: her children, Robert E. Boyer (Holly) of Dover, David Bentzel of Baltimore, MD and Linda Bentzel of Dover; her grandchild Jamie Bentzel; her great grandchildren, Kayla and Ashley; her great great grandchildren, Tanner and Gracie; and her pet Leo.
