With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucy Ellen Abel of York, Pennsylvania, born in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 26, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Spangler and Dorothy Spangler (Shue); her daughter Pamela Prince; and her siblings, Robert Spangler, Harry Spangler, Ron Spangler, Charlie Spangler, Allen Spangler, Dorothy Miller and Sue Gohn.
She is survived by: her husband David W. Abel of York; her sons, David W. Abel, Jr. (Ronda) of York and Robert S. Abel (Krista Deemer) of Mt. Wolf; her grandchildren, Jonathan and Jordyn; and her brother Ralph Spangler of Phoenixville.
