She was predeceased by: her parents, Michalis Karasimas and Ekaterini Karasimas. She is survived by: her daughters, Ekaterini Vainas (Vasilios) of York, Angie Barakos (Nick) of York and Olga Euaggelopoulou (Nimitri) of Greece; and her grandchildren, Apostolos "Toli" Vainas (Tina), George Barakos (Eleni), Christopher Barakos, Vasiliki, Fotoula, Maria and Christina Euaggelopoulou. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 2500 Pine Grove Road, York, PA 17403.
