She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Charles B. Schaap; and her son Dr. Kevin M. Schaap. She is survived by: her son Gaylord (Mitzi); her grandsons, Trevor and Justin; her daughter Sharlene Cassidy (Richard); her grandsons, Brian and Kevin; her son Dr. Charles Schaap, Jr.; her nephew Craig Schaap (Jeanine); her niece Pamela MacKean; her great-niece Ashley MacKean; and her half-sister Nancy Johnson.
