She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve X. Gallas and Mary Louise Gallas (Distasio); and her brother Stephen Nicholas Stengel. She is survived by: her husband Dr. James N. Stengel; her children, James Nicholas Stengel, Jr (Wendy), Janie and Joseph Steven Stengel; her grandchildren, Steven Christopher, James Nicolas Stengel III, Samantha Athena and Abigail Louise; her brother James Martin Gallas; and her sister-in-law Stephanie Gallas of Williamsburg. She is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
