He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy D. Wineka and Alice Wineka (Matthew); and his siblings, Charles 'Chubb' Wineka and Virginia Wineka. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Wineka (Trout); his granddaughter Melissa Castriota; his great grandchildren, Louie, Carrie and Erin Castriota; and also Michael II. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
