She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Hughes and Letha Hughes (Sexton); her son Matthew L. Hughes Sr.; and her brother Robert L. Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Marie Hughes of Baltimore, Crystal Rodriguez (Eduardo) of Bethlehem, Rhodia Valdovinos (William Shingler Jr.) of Red Lion and John Jackson of York; and her sister Rose Marie Zimmerman of Wilmington, DE. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.
