She was predeceased by: her husband Bernie Manning; her parents, Elder Solomon and Mary Eliza Michaux; and her siblings, May H. Byrd and Solomon Haltiwanger of Newport News, VA.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tatonya (Joe Holman), Monique (Steve Beidleman) and Tamara Manning of Miami, Florida; her grandchildren, Alexis, Amaiya Holman, Jayla and Justin Beidleman; her sisters, Lillie Miller (Calvin) of Blackwood, NJ, Mable Hill (Ezra) of Yorktown, VA, Rhoda Holt (Alphonso) of Newport News, VA, Minerva McNair (James) of Hampton, VA and Gardenia Burton (Charles) of Houston, TX; her siblings-in-law, Carole Doweary (John) of York, PA, Marilyn Hutcherson (Jeffrey) of York, PA, Jerone Manning (Sherron) of York, PA, Richard and Edward Byrd of Newport News, VA; and her godchildren, Jordyn Armstrong of Triangle, VA, Elaine Rawlison of Clinton, MD, DaNatia Baker of Harrisburg, PA, Shakira Hill of Chesapeake, VA and Dominic Manning York. She is also survived by her daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law, sisters, other family members and friends.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, her private burial services will be held on Tuesday, May 26 in Susquehanna Valley Memorial Gardens in York, PA where she will be buried next to her husband.
