He was predeceased by: his parent James H.; and his brother Floyd. He is survived by: his parent Mae Plowman (Dellinger); his wife Carol Plowman (Johnson); his children, Richard Jr. (Rick) and Plowman, Jr.; his wife Cheryl Traynham; his grandchildren, Kristin Cummings (Tom), Melissa Kline (Tyler), Clayton Traynham and Colton Traynham; his great grandchildren, Brady and Liam; and also Karen E. Traynham (Bobby).
