He was predeceased by: his parent Robert E., Sr.; his sons, Gary W. Hartz and Frank E. Hartz; and his sisters, Janet M. Drake and Helen Schule.
He is survived by: his spouse Mary K. Hartz (Kreider); his parent Ruth M. Hartz (Fasnacht); and his sons, Glenn A. Hartz (Pamela) of Mansfield, OH and Galen E. Hartz (Donna Kime) of Benderville, PA.. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
