He is survived by: his parents, Joseph D. Caler, Jr. and Mary Trish Caler; his son Andrew S. Trostle (Katie Miller) of Hanover; his grandchildren, Addyson Trostle and Andrew Steven "Moose" Trostle, Jr.; and his siblings, William Trostle (Wendy) of Spring Grove, Kathryn Myers (William) of Glenville, Daniel Caler (Brenda) of Hanover, Laurie Wagaman of Littlestown and Andrew Caler (Robin) of Hanover. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association's Relay for Life, c/o Kathy Myers, 7154 St. Johns Road, Glenville, PA 17329 for his family's team.
