He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Kerns; his sisters, Margaret Kerns, Rose Roth, Ann Derr and Marianne Kerns; his son-in-law Richard Boward; and his brother-in-law Francis Roth.
He is survived by: his parent Mary Kerns (Conroy); his children, Thomas Kerns, Michael Kerns and Kimberly Miller; his stepdaughter Diane Boward; his grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Jason, Nicholas Kerns, Samantha Poirier, Genevieve Poirier, Troy, Bethany and Conor Miller; and his brother-in-law John Derr.
