He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Housman and Romaine Housman (Dize). He is survived by: his wife Nancy L. Housman (Quickel) of York; his children, Susan Hartman (Matt) of York and Mark Housman (Kara) of York; his grandchildren, Stephanie Christy (James), Jared Hartman (Abby), Jacob Housman and Janelle Housman; and his stepgrandchildren, Alexis and Carson. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Messiah United Methodist Church, 1300 North Beaver Street, York, PA 17404.
