It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William H. Markel (York, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosetta (Ream) and William Henry Markel, Sr.; his wife Linda; and his sister Glenda. He is survived by: his sons, Brian Keith Markel of York and William Robert Markel of York; his siblings, Kenny Markel of York, Jim Markel of York, Dixie Zarfoss of York and Nancy Knisley of York; and his daughter-in-law Jonna Markel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
