She was predeceased by : her parents, George Senchuk and Anna Senchuk; her husband Arvid Carlson; and her brothers, Peter and Nick Senchuk.

She is survived by : her sisters, Mary Spotts of Vermont and Bonnie Dove of South Carolina. She is also survived by two nephews and several nieces.
