She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Foster and Helen Foster; her son Frederick G. Austin, Jr.; and her husband Frederick G. Austin, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Walters (David) of Frederick, MD and Jim Austin (Michelle) of Germantown, MD; her grandchildren, Kayleigh and Brenden of Germantown, MD; and her sister Vicki Crispo (Neil) of York, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a local food bank in her name.
