With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Stella Szakelyhidi of Zelienople, Pennsylvania, born in Monaca, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 13, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruno Larizza and Palma Larizza. She is survived by: her husband Andy Szakelyhidi; her children, Jeffrey (Susan Szakelyhidi), Andrea (Steven Jensen) and Betty (Edward Bardella); her grandchildren, Amy, Daren, Jessica, Bethany, Sarah, Allison and Eddie; and her great grandchildren, Teagen, Blake, Trey, Turner, Zeke, Amelia, Vera, Savannah, Owen, Audrey, Sebastian, Andrew Basil and Jonah.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Divine Grace Parish-St. Gregory Catholic Church (2 W Beaver St, Zelienople, PA 16063).
