She was predeceased by : her parents, William Yerger and Margaret Barker Yerger; her daughters, Rose Marie Brandstetter and Robin Bennett; and her siblings, Helen Yerger McKean, George Yerger and William Yerger.

She is survived by : her husband Robert Henry Brandstetter; her daughter Cindy; her son-in-law Robert Kuzma; her grandchildren, Deanna Flynn (Daniel), Lindsay Crowther, Jessica Bennett (Benny Haft), Bobby Kuzma and Jamie Bennett (Dustin Staab); and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Jace Crowther, Nicolas "Nico" Flynn, Heidi and Henry Staab.

The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, Lung Cancer Research or Lower Cape Fear Life Care Hospice Hospice.
