He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm L. Heckman and Anna Hazel May; and his brother Malcolm Heckman. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Heckman; his children, Jennifer Kloss (Alfred), Matthew Heckman (Nicole) and Stephen Heckman (Caitlin); and his grandchildren, Alfred, Andrew, Thomas, Kristina, Daniel, Claire and Ada.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to a charity of one's choice, continuing his legacy of service and compassion.
