He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Doyle and Arlene Almeida (Barber); his wife Genevieve "Jinx" Barnes (Rego); and his granddaughter Crystal Lee Rainey. He is survived by : his children, Cheryl Dahlman of Florida, Merriman R. "Sonny" Barnes II of Warwick and Marlene G. Teixeira of Bristol; his grandchildren, Shayne Barnes, Derrick Barnes, Nicholas Barnes and Andrew Teixiera; and his great grandchildren, Zachary Jarrod Pacheco, Gianna Genevieve Ciccone, Xavier Barnes and Annabel Marie Ciccone.
