He is survived by: his grandfather Charlie; his parent Adeline Place (Taylor); his spouse Jean Rathbun; his daughters, Linda Benoit of Derby, VT and Debra Fortune (Chris) of Ashaway, RI; his brothers, Charles Place and Neil Place; his grandchildren, Doug Benoit, Melissa Benoit, Jeremey Fortune, Kerri Brown and Zachary Place; his son Gary; his grandsons, Ronald Benoit and Gary Place II; and his siblings, Pauline Swafford and Ronald Place. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter, plus many neices and nephews.
