It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Irene McCombs of Chepachet, Rhode Island, born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 19, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert T. McCombs; and her parents, Joseph Lambert and Alice Lambert (Mills). She is survived by: her children, Thomas McCombs of Rotonda West, FL, William McCombs of Providence, Donna Austin of North Scituate, Alice Gruenenfelder of Woonsocket and Judith Murphy of Chepachet; her grandchildren, Patricia Goveia, Christine Henault, James Clift, Sarah Clift, Greg Gruenenfelder, Brandon Clift and Daniel McCombs; her great grandchildren, Ross Goveia, Nicole Goveia, Therese Henault, Michelle Henault, Simon McCombs, Lucas Clift, Liam Clift and Niya Scott; her close friend Raymond Daggett; and her sisters, Louise Bandieri, Winifred Bourque, Theresa Smith, Frances Farrell and Rose Talbot.
