It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine F. Pirotte of Coventry, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rene Preat and Mariette Preat (Pletinckx); and her siblings, Anne and Marc Preat. She is survived by: her husband Serge J. Pirotte; her children, Ingrid Malloney (Jason) of Charlestown, RI, Deborah Hoisington (Kevin) of Palm Coast, FL, John Pirotte (Heidi) of Charlestown, RI and Audrey Cosgrove (Christopher) of East Greenwich; her siblings, Michelle, Christine Preat of Belgium and Benoit Preat of Belgium; and her grandchildren, Melanie, Noah, Ryley, Lucy, Carson, Zachary, Madison, Cooper, Avery, Landen, Brian, Matthew, Lauren, Knox and Lexington.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home (659 E Greenwich Ave, West Warwick, RI 02893).
