He was predeceased by: his parents, John Goff and Lois Goff (DiSandro). He is survived by: his sons, Eric J. Goff and Nicholas Goff; his stepdaughters, Jessica Hummel and Christina Hummel; his brothers, David Goff (Lori Fortune) and Richard Goff (Jennifer); his grandson Cameron Silva; and his aunt Paula Domenico (Tamara Goff).
He was an accomplished guitarist and vocalist who played in many well-known bands in Rhode Island and Massachusetts venues up until the start of the pandemic.
