She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen Lachapelle; her parents, Hugh Kennedy and Margaret Kennedy (Delaney); and her brother Hugh Kennedy. She is survived by: her children, Nicole Lachapelle Maxwell (Dean) of Burrillville and Stephen Lachapelle, Jr. (Jackie) of Lincoln; her sisters, Margaret Bouffard of Lincoln, Patricia Kennedy of Florida, Susan Gaucher of Florida, Phyllis Burgess of Florida and Sharon Canup of Pawtucket; her grandchildren, Margaret Lachapelle and Stephen Lachapelle, III; and her sister Carole Kennedy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
