He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Giovanni Colagiovanni and Angela Colagiovanni (DiChiro); his wife RoseMarie Colagiovanni (Giordano); his sons, Joseph Colagiovanni Jr. (Mary Jo) and Giovanni "John" Colagiovanni; his grandchildren, Angela, Giana D'Ercole (Stephen), Giovanni and Benedetto Colagiovanni; his great grandchild Isabella Colagiovanni-Carey; his sister Lucy; his parents-in-law, Barbara Colucci, Virginia Giordano, Mary and Antoine Giordano; his siblings, Vincent Colagiovanni (Corinne) and Filomena (Michael Buonanni); and his brothers-in-law, Sabatino Giordano and Lawrence Colucci. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
